a tail of Doctors, paddies and daughters.

Maybe some other stuff

Is there a Tiebreak in the house: Is there a Blank in the house?

Having safely tucked the little man off to sleep I sat down with my darling wife and oh so lovable daughter to watch Doctor Who.

All was fine (despite a fairly weak climax to a rather weak series - in my view). Until we got to the end SWWNO satisfied to get her weekly chunk of the scary stuff turned and asked me what monsters it would be next week. I foolishly explained that the series was ended and there wouldn't be any more new Doctor who's on until christmas (though we had lots on DVD she hadn't seen - we don't actually have many but she's only ever actually seen 3 episodes).

Queue 15 minutes of absolute hysterics, we eventually managed to get her to go up to her room. Only for her to storm down 10 minutes later holding the following letter which she demanded we sent off to the BBC (well television people).

DoctorHowwComeBack

This is just the envelope I've still not read the contents inside (most likely death threats if I know my little angel). I may well still send it, though she since seemed to have calmed down and the explanation that they have to actually make them first seems to have at least sunk in a little.

In other news the house is falling apart, and the glue is damn expensive!

I've often told her something like "oh what a beautiful picture of a butterfly" - only to be told it's a house, or mummy, or a picture of her brother with an axe through his head etc etc.

i just make vague statements about it being pretty, and very good drawing, though the other day i watched a 5 year old do a better drawing of an elephant than i could do. this is what i get when i color with the kids at family events...

And a prefectly recognisable TARDIS.
You should have seen the tears we had when Whasserface got sucked into a parallel world.

I was caught up in the moment, the drama. It only happened that once, and I managed to recover my composure in only 15 minutes or so. Stop harping on about it.

Almost makes me want to have kids. Almost.

When I'm imprisoned as an enemy combatant, will you blog about it?
